Infrastructure: FAA, FCC, FTC, transportation, broadcast rights

Democrats and Republicans have vastly divergent views on this topic. Republicans want no regulation and seek to undo laws from the past fifty years. Democrats seek to hold corporations accountable.

Regulation regarding fossil fuels, utilities and related is handled in a separate section. Here I am focusing solely on infrastructure issues that impact our daily lives: What we can see on TV, how we drive to work, what happens when we board a flight, what fees banks can charge us, how we log into the Internet.

I frankly hope we can quickly undo the deregulation that Republicans seek to implement as soon as we retake Washington.

Proposed legislation:

  • October 10, 2025 – December 3, 2025:
  • September 26, 2025 - October 9, 2025:
  • July 17, 2025 – August 22, 2025To make price gouging unlawful; 5G legislation; 9/11 airline fees; smart technology and infrastructure; drinking water; fare-free public transit; aviation safety; cell-site simulators; robocalls; electric grid; broadband. And the innocuous bill that became the bombshell of 12/31.
