I was 'seeing Europe through the back door' long before Rick Steves' first book was published. It's the only way to go. In this section, I'll share my travel tips, help you with itineraries, and post travelogues from trips over the past fifty years. Our world has changed. Frankly? It's gotten better.
Travel services
We aren't a travel agency. You'll need to find someone else to book flights and hotels.
But we can brainstorm with you if you only have a general idea of places you want to see and an overall budget. Our rates are lower than traditional agencies. Here is where you can order those services.
Once you have your complete itinerary with hotels, car rentals, train schedules, flights, whatever is applicable, we can create customized, bound planners for you and everyone in your group, with free digital versions as well.
If you’re interested in a “historical” tour, we can suggest appropriate sites and destinations, complete with walking tours in your chosen cities. We’ve already created a Take Me AlongSM Travel Guide for places related to White Rose. For a customized version, you’d only need to give us your travel specifics. A generic version is already available.
Travelogues
This is now the home for our travelogues and travel posts. All new posts will be added here, and only here. As sections are completed, we’ll add travelogues to our online store for your reading enjoyment.
