May 13, 2008: Added 2007 update for White Rose History, Volume I to online store. Shipping now!

March 18, 2008: Uploaded Angela Merkel's speech before the Israeli Knesset on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the nation of Israel.

February 11, 2008: Uploaded the February 11 newsletter, along with the book review for Shareen Blair Brysac's Resisting Hitler (Mildred Harnack biography).

January 6, 2008: Uploaded the January 6, 2008 press release regarding new Facebook group dedicated to White Rose discussions.

December 6, 2007: Uploaded the November 1, 2007 CWRS newsletter, and Christoph Probst book review. Added "photography and art" items to catalog (note that prices have been drastically reduced due to change in vendor - without sacrificing quality!). Added Robert Mohr memoir to primary source materials. Added new calendar and Orenburg scrapbook. Simplified our manual order form.

October 25, 2007: Our work has been renewed and rejuvenated in Utah! Primary change to the Web site: Change in appearance and function of online store. At the same time that we moved cross country to Utah, Microsoft discontinued its e-Commerce solution. Therefore, we've had to be creative, since the solutions offered by other e-Commerce providers are too expensive. For more about this change, please read news from the publisher. We welcome your feedback!

October 12, 2006: Almost a year later, but we finally got a Round Tuit. Added Ludwig Thoma's play First Class to our list. Refined the mission statement for Exclamation! Publishers. Noted recent acquisition of Gestapo interrogation transcripts for Franz Josef Mueller and Alexander Schmorell; what that means to White Rose research has yet to be determined, but we won't keep you guessing for long! Renewed our commitment to providing top-notch translation services for the German-American business community. Denise wrote a tribute to old friends who impacted her life, an essay entitled Canasta Game. No business purpose for the writing, just something she wanted to say. And we're two steps closer to releasing the first two choral arrangements in our new Celebrating Community line.

Not to mention that we've moved... See bottom of any page of this Web site for new contact information, or click here. Whew! It's been a busy (and tough) summer!

November 8, 2005: Added review of new Sophie Scholl/Fritz Hartnagel book.

September 8, 2005: Added more items to the "1-of-a-kind" section of our online catalog. Otherwise, it's been a slow month! Note on October 12, 2006: Our virtual garage sale has ended. Thanks to all of you who helped us clean house.

July 25, 2005: Only one update this time ~ a review of Sophie Scholl, die letzten Tage by Fred Breinersdorfer.

July 13, 2005: Lots of changes! Added three book reviews: Etty, edited by Klaas Smelik; Im Geiste der Gemordeten, by Barbara Schueler; and Armin Ziegler's Eugen Grimminger biography. All three can be viewed on the same book review page. ~ Also added a new FAQ regarding Ruth's weighting of the various Gestapo interrogation transcripts when she wrote her White Rose histories. And Exclamation Publishers proudly introduces its first play: Morality by Ludwig Thoma, translated and adapted by Alma Thieme. For more about our new line of plays, check us out! ~ Added Morality to our online catalog. Also added Ruth's White Rose History Excel workbooks to the online catalog for White Rose scholars who did not order the academic version of White Rose History Volume II, or who ordered that book through a library, book store, or wholesaler. To order, click here; to read more about the Excel workbooks, click here.

June 27, 2005: Changed shipping status of Cookbook for Germans in America: Meat Dishes and Salads to "shipping now!" Another Yea! Also added new publication to White Rose primary sources: Two Interviews: Hartnagel and Wittenstein (Annotated). More updates to Web site to come in the next week or so!

April 27, 2005: Complete overhaul of Web site. Added FAQs to Center for White Rose Studies. Much of this information was already on the site, but hopefully it will make the site easier to navigate. Changed email addresses to minimize spam! And announced release of White Rose History Volume II: Journey to Freedom (May 1, 1942 - October 12, 1943) ~ it starts shipping this week! Yea!

October 5, 2004: Updated timeline with specifics from February 18 and 22, 1943. Added details to contents of the 2003 update in our Online Catalog.  Please note that whenever you use our for-profit services, you are enabling us to continue our non- (and not-for-) profit work regarding the White Rose, German resistance, and German-Jewish dialog.

September 1, 2004: Release of 2003 update to White Rose History, Vol. 1: Coming Together (January 31, 1933 - April 30, 1942)!

March 2, 2004: If you received a fax purporting to be from us, advising you to configure an auto-forwarding service, please note that it was not sent by anyone at DEHeap Enterprises, Inc. We do not find such "spoofs" funny in the least, and have repeatedly contacted the FTC and FCC asking them to take measures against these perverts. Sadly, their priorities seem to be focused on Janet Jackson's strip tease instead of supporting small business by prosecuting such egregious offenders. Please immediately delete the email from your inbox. Thanks. (Geez Louise! Like there's not enough to keep us busy as it is...)

February 18, 2004: Updated with new telephone and fax numbers. ~ Also please note that Ruth will be going in for major surgery on March 19. We will therefore be extremely -- extreeeeeeemely -- short-handed. We will keep processing orders, but it may take a bit longer than usual from March 19 - April 19.

January 9, 2004: Updated Web site (minor changes, primarily design elements). Added excerpts from Ruth Sachs' description of research methodology.

November 30, 2003: Release of White Rose History, Volume I: Coming Together (January 31, 1933-April 30, 1942) [Academic Version]. Can be ordered online.

March 17, 2003: Added new products to the online catalog, such as Pesach baskets. Also, please note that online catalog was down from 3/15 - 3/17/03 ~ one more Microsoft glitch. But it appears to be working all right now. If you ever have headaches navigating or using the site, or ordering from the catalog, please let us know. Thanks!

February 28, 2003: Please note that if you have been trying to access the Web site / online catalog and have been frustrated at down time ~ Microsoft's servers have been down more this week than in all of the past 18 months. They have not advised their customers (us!) regarding what has been happening. If you tried to place an order or send an email and it "bounced," please email me the specifics; it will go in our techie files. Thanks for your patience!

February 22, 2003: Revised portal to Center for White Rose Studies; among other things, added brief summary of the White Rose story for those who do not know what they did or who they were. Added Gestapo interrogation transcripts to the online store.
