The Center for White Rose Studies periodically publishes an electronic newsletter, updating scholars interested in German resistance or the White Rose in particular, or persons generally interested in the topic of informed dissent in a civilized society. These newsletters appear quarterly and are sent to German, history, and Holocaust education professors and teachers across the United States, as well as in the U.K., Canada, and Australia.

We also occasionally issue press releases to the media.

November 1, 2007: Trip report for September 2007 participation in White Rose conference, Orenburg, Russia. Book review (Christoph Probst). "White Rose Dichotomy". Historical considerations: Can history be accurately recorded as long as eyewitnesses are alive?

October 12, 2006: Review of the Russian edition of Alexander Schmorell's Gestapo interrogation transcripts. Information about the Orenburg Charity Foundation "Eurasia". Announcement of Ruth Sachs' new play entitled Abandonment.

Feb 20, 2006: Review of the Sophie Scholl movie. Review of release of correspondence between Sophie Scholl and Fritz Hartnagel (edited by Thomas Hartnagel). Update about brick-and-mortar facility.

Sep 30, 2005: Hagalil update. In memoriam: Erich Schmorell. Two new White Rose publications to announce, along with a new White Rose seminar. Announcement of nice review of our White Rose History, Volume I, in Unterrichtspraxis, the journal of the American Association of Teachers of German.

March 31, 2005: Release of White Rose History, Volume II, with general outline regarding what makes this history "different". Research center plans. Hagalil. Staff email changes.

Sep 30, 2004: The "catch-up" newsletter after over a year of silence. All kinds of goodies, too many to enumerate here!

Feb 12, 2003: Press release announcing publication of Gestapo interrogation transcripts (ZC13267 and NJ1704) in English translation.
