When DEHeap Enterprises, Inc. was formed in October 1999, we initially intended to focus solely on providing consulting services to international corporations. However, as the publishing side of our venture took off, and especially as we assisted our affiliate Center for White Rose Studies with its Holocaust education efforts, "business services" became less important to us.
These days, "business services" enable us to keep the prices of our publications relatively low. Profit margins in the publishing business are notoriously poor. Unless you strike it John-Grisham-rich, break-even can be a worthy goal.
We therefore have learned once again to cherish our "business services" clients. You make it possible for us to stay in business. Every time we sell a copy of White Rose History or a Gestapo interrogation transcript in English translation, every time Ruth speaks at a Holocaust education conference, we understand that we can continue selling these books or addressing young Americans because someone in a corporation (large or small) has paid for a translation, a research project, or press release.
The next time you need a document translated, guerrilla marketing counsel, a business seminar, research undertaken, or whatever else to keep your company profitable, think of us! And on the lighter side, when you want travel tips, fun stuff for your staff, or help with your genealogy hobby, think of us again.
By using our services, you allow us to stimulate young minds with stories of heroes - perhaps even inspiring the next Abe Lincoln, Sophie Scholl, Martin Luther King, Jr., or Mother Theresa.
Note: We have added a "Consumer Services Division" ~ No, that's not a public advocacy project, as much as we would like to fight all the bad guys and publicly praise all the good ones.
